    AbstractAccording to the basic construction condition and coal market in Yimin No.3 Open-pit Coal Mine, the article comprehensively analyzes mining technology, equipment selection, the whole technology arrangement, other auxiliary project and energy consumption in different mining scales schemes. Through comparing with the total investment, financial internal rate of return, production cost and other economic indicators of each scheme, the author concludes that No.3 Open-pit Mine can get the best profitability when the design scale is at 10.0 Mt/a and 15.0 Mt/a.
