Abstract： The collapse of goaf, high temperature of spontaneous combustion and a large volume of toxic gas cause the potential safe problems. In order to ensure the normal production and the safe of staff and equipment, the East Open-pit Coal Mine and China Coal Science and Technology Institute cooperate to explore goaf using transient electromagnetic method and achieve good results.
