Abstract: The article analyzed some problems of the present hired mining equipments in Baiyinhua No.1 Open-pit Mine, put forward adopting the DWY1500 full hydraulic bucket wheel excavator to mine coal. From the demonstrations of technical feasibility, economic rationality and safety reliability, this article concluded that it was feasible to apply the hired DWY1500 full hydraulic bucket wheel excavator in Baiyinhua No.1 Open-pit Mine.
