Abstract: The article analyzes the reasons of cracks on the base of the spherical head in L-1350 electric wheel loader, discusses the welding technology and measures of the crack repair of the spherical head base and the supporting tube, and summarizes the repaired L-1350 electric wheel front loader putting into open-pit mine production intact status. The successful restoration of spherical head base provides referential experience for welding repair of articulated joint.
