Abstract: North slope west area (E4700 ~ E6700) in Fushun East Open-pit Mine is near the office building. The seismic effect affects the normal work of the residents, so the blasting design will highlight the shock absorption measures. According to the characteristics of rock in the north slope west area, the mine chooses the reasonable blasting methods to control blasting direction, change the charging structure and other methods to reduce the blasting vibration of mining area.
