Abstract： Combining with the production situation of Heidaigou and Haerwusu Open-pit Mines mines，the author establishes the mathematical models that calculate the economic leaving ditch height between two mining areas, determines the key factors that affect the leaving ditch height between two mining areas, and calculates the critical values of the key factor as reference data for the production and management of two mines.
