Abstract: From the start of open-pit mine mining history, the author analyzed the development and existing problem of mining technology in open-pit mine.  Combining with the status of green mining technology both at home and abroad open-pit mine,  the article analyzed the economy and environmental protection comparison between green mining technology and traditional shovel-truck technology, pointed out that the renovation of traditional mining technology and green mining technology  application would bring great benefit for the enterprise and society.
