Abstract: Taking the high slope in Puyang coal mine as the research object and the limit equilibrium method as the basic principle, this article discusses the determining mode of slope angle, considering the formation characteristics of slope, the calculation principle and the selection of mechanical parameters, which show the structure of the mine slope, and change the models that rely entirely on estimating the slope angle by production experience in the past, and explore a new way of the quantitative analysis of the open-pit mine high slope angle.
