Abstract: Abstract：Through the concrete examples, the article states thedetermined principle and method of the first mining area in open-pit mine, and presents the prospector, building side and designers jointly determined first mining area before the geological exploration engineering arrangement. The author looks for the technology intersection between the exploration degree and the first mining area in geology and open-pit mining majors. On the basis of meeting the technical specifications of both sides, the geological prospecting work provides support for the following open-pit mining design and production by the minimum site construction work.
