对南露天矿北端帮台阶留存时间及现状的分析、方案的确定、技术参数的选取、施工步骤以及安全技术措施等方面进行分析；南露天煤矿通过对北端帮进行覆土，切实缓减了采场防灭火压力，给南露天煤矿安全生产提供了有力保障。
Abstract:
This article carries out analysis from north end slope step retained time and current situation, the scheme determination, technical parameters selection, construction procedure and safety technical measures aspects. Through covering soil on north end slope, the mine effectively alleviates the pressure of fire prevention in stope, which provides a strong guarantee for safety production in south open-pit coal mine.
