Abstract： Through analyzing the safety production status in Shengli Open-pit Mine, the author finds out the main causes of truck transportation accident, and designs the truck collision warning system based on GPS technology, which effectively curbs the occurrence of truck transportation accident has important significance to safety production in open-pit mine.
